Best place for genuine last minute deals?

Are there any web sites that offer genuine last minute deals? Sites like Lastminute.com seem to just be a travel agent these days offering holidays in a week or two's time - that's not Last minute.

Or they want a destination - I just want a site where I can say ok, we've got a few days off in a couple of days time, offer me some great deals, and go somewhere because it is interesting and a genuinely good price because it is filling last remaining places.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

had a couple of bargains but also a howler, just confirm everything before you pay.

holiday pirates seems very cheap. Check hotukdeals regularly too, somebody called sunshine stacey on there who regularly posts cracking deals (but they are southern airport centric IMHO)
