Well have just come back from seeing Fleetwood Mac in concert (christmas pressie for SWMBO) and had a good old time. Considering they are all getting on a little (Christine McVie is 71!) it was a very good old show and they just reeled off hit after hit. There were a couple I didn't know but all in all really glad I went.

what a way to start a gig... some bad vid and a couple of pics (next time I'll remember to bring the camera!)

Just back from Thursday's gig, my first time seeing FM. The more I listen to Rumours the more I like it even now.

I really enjoyed that, what a guitarist Buckingham is and he really enjoyed performing which is always great to see. They're all a bit larger than life with the exception of John McVie, but he makes up for it with the bass.

I thought the set list a bit odd. Big big start, then quite flat in the middle and quite good at the end.

I've seen them a few times. A few years ago at Wembley Arena was best, Lindsay Buckingham came on and said something like ' we haven't got new album out, so will play the oldies!' So they played a solid 3 hours and every song was known to all. What a band..

I'm going on Tuesday, can't wait.

Only my second 'big' concert I've been to. The first MJ in 97.

Off to see them tomorrow night in Manchester - assuming whichever band member has now recovered.

Will be the 4th or 5th time I've seen them, but only the second with all 5 of them. They just get better and better, as they now realise they don't need to try and impress the audience, the music can do that anyway.

Would love to see them, but can't stomach paying £100+ to sit so far away you need a screen to see them!

Last saw them in '85 at Wembley. I definitely feel old!

Feel for those with tickets to the canceled gigs. We had tickets for Kings of Leon in Indy last year and they canceled because the drummer hurt his foot. We were gutted.

Hope nothing happens to prevent the Stones playing the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on 4th July. The Stones, 4th July, IMS - Can't wait! biggrin

I saw them at the IoW Festival. They were very good. Lindsay Buckingham is in amazing shape and his guitar playing was outstanding. They played for nearly two hours, beginning with the Chain and ending with Don't Stop, the sole encore.

No, that is true. They are definitely different, but I like both versions.

I was there too. Mick Fleetwood's drumming was the stand out for me, he sounded pretty sharp.

Saw them last night at the 02 at the dome.

A great performance but as some have said - big start, little bit flat, then big again.

Buckingham is an outstanding guitarist and the key band member for me.

We get that it's nice to have Christine back in the band but do we need to be reminded every 10 minutes...

A great night - although I would have liked to hear Oh Well they played all the other ones.

I wonder if that's related to there being a second drummer hidden directly behind Mick's riser for some of the songs - I noticed they didn't get a mention when thanking the 'other' members of the band.
