I'm looking for recommendations as there are so many available. So interested in what's good and what's not so good.

Still to decide whether I want to just check where he has been (when he decides to grace us with his presence) or live tracking so I can find the little bugger.......

Loc8tor

The fob is on the large side for a cat but we use it with our more outgoing cat. The simplest version just gives you a handheld locator - more lights get lit the closer you are.

The proper gps version is great but has a subscription fee. Then it's about 10p every time you look where your pet is.

I currently run the loc8tor on Moglet & Millie, it works fine. It's not GPS so if your cat roams it might not be as suitable, as you need to wander about looking at the signal locator to find the cat. Its small compact and the battery life is good. The transponder when activated emits a soft beeping noise too, both cats tend to wander home when they hear it!

Use this on our cats occasionally. It's incredible to see where they go!
