AN-6 fuel couplings
Discussion
Evening all,
I'm just replacing some fuel hoses by using hard line adapters on the steel pipes that appear under the expansion tank. I've looked for info in terms of torque figures but I can't find anything. I tried the supplier (Torques Products) but they're closed for the weekend.
I assembled the couplings with what I thought was appropriate but a slight leak was evident, I've tightened them further and after firing up for a second time I couldn't detect that telltale whiff of petrol but I'm a little worried now about whether I've gone too far and damaged the threads.
Any thoughts?
Cheers
Ian
