MirrorLink - what the...?

My mum just bought a new Fabia. It has a fancy radio in it with a big screen, the salesman told her she can just plug her phone in and the sat nav app on her phone will appear and work on the radio screen.

However.... When I plug her phone in (Nexus 4) the radio starts playing music off it. I find the mirrorlink menu in the radio and it says its not compatible.

I've found the mirrorlink website which lists compatible phones. The Nexus 4 is not one of them. Googling around it seems some phones and apps have limited success.

So does anyone out there have mirrorlink working well - if so what phone and apps do you use?

It's a bit of a lemon Sony & htc supposedly work it doesn't work with google maps theirs very few compatible apps
