Killed in a car crash along with his wife, survived by his two month old child. Sad news.

Bad news, this guy even turned up and played for Barnstaple 2nds in 2007. Known as a complete gent as well as a monster on the pitch

Not only that, when he played for the Barbarians a few weeks later, he did so in Barnstaple socks. I wouldn't mind betting that every member of that club still has the clip of him being highlighted by the commentator as Jerry Collins "of New Zealand and Barnstaple"!

In these days of everything being so professional, it was nice to see one of the best just enjoying his game.
