Does anyone have any experience with the accuracy of these? I want to order a Tues AL comp in large but the site says they aren't available until the start of September. Seems a bit pointless to pay for a new downhill bike and not have it all summer?

Great bikes but operations imo.

AFAIK they're pretty accurate give or take a few days - they're German after all!

Was pretty accurate ship date when I bought mine.

Lead times are much longer these days due to them moving into the Norh American market and Zink pushing the brand.

Worth the wait IMO - nothing comes close for the price. In fact they are better than bikes costing twice as much

You don't have to pay until a couple of weeks before due date. And yes, do it - my Capra pro was on time and is insane for the price, it ripped in Portugal on every trail they had

They seem to be pretty accurate. I ordered a Capra back in March and the predicted delivery date hasn't changed since then... which is good in that it hasn't got any further away, but bad in that I am STILL waiting for it!

Can't wait to get it. OK, so it isn't like I haven't had a bike to play with... but you know how it is. N+1 and all that!

Graeme, how is your Capra on XC trails ? Is it a realistic XC / All Mountain bikes as well as downhill ?

Thing is though, receiving in September just in time for winter, can't help but feel like I should just wait for the 2016 models?!

Holy thread revival.

I bit the bullet and placed an order... turns out I made it just in time to nab one from the previous batch, so after ordering / paying on Tuesday, I received my DHL tracking details today. Excited is an understatement! Off on holiday on Tuesday so will make the holiday blues somewhat more bearable!

Sorry for bringing back an old thread but I've just ordered a yt Tues al comp in medium. Can't help but wonder if I should have considered the large. I'm 175cm and currently feel comfortable on my medium giant glory 2013.

How does the large feel for you? How tall are you?

I'm in a mountain bike group on FB and asked the same question yesterday as I'm considering a Capra. I'm 5'11" with 32" inside leg. There were 4 people the same height and leg as me and there was a equal split. 2 had large and 2 medium. YT themselves said medium to me however looking at the pics on FB of them, the medium looked a bit cramped to me.

I think you'll be fine on the medium. That said there was a chap on Pinkbike whom I spoke to who was 5'8" and went with a large as a medium didn't feel right!

I'm 6`4 so large was the only option. Feels great but I wouldn't want it any smaller. It did come with springs designed for a very slight gentleman in the forks / rear shock so I've had to spend a bit swapping them out for some heavier weighted items which is a bit annoying.

I hear they are going to release an XL sized Tuesday - and have just released XL Capra Alu.
I'm 6' 4" and have the Large Wicked Comp which preceeded the Capra - great bike but on big jumps my weight is often a bit too far forward. As soon as they release the Tues Pro in XL i'm placing an order. It's a PITA that so few manufacturers make XL sized bikes.

I don't feel like I need it. The Large is wonderfully chuckable and so stable. I've done 3 rides on it now and hit some reasonably sized stuff. It's never once felt uncomfortable. The reach on the Tues is quite long. It'd be worth trying one if you can.

Cheers for the reply. I have just sent the money for a black Tues al comp in medium. Can't believe the spec for the money. I know a lad who just got the carbon comp. I almost went fr that but in reality I will never benefit from the marginal differences the cf may or may not have over the al.
