Having a good time at BTCC, had a few beers, and the payments were surprisingly good. You can almost see my simple wee mind doing the "could i, should i".

"Had a brilliant ride out today on the R1. Did 3 tanks of fuel in biggrin

A quick lad on a K5 thou bumped into us coming up to Cawood and we got into a bit of a duel which ended in this;

He was absolutely fine, not a scratch on him thank fook, the bike might want a pat down with a shammy though smile

I had a Dorsoduro for a while and loved it, can't imagine touring on one though fair play to you.

How did he salvage it - dragged out with a car?
Looks like he flooded it.

Hopefully it will have calmed down a bit by then, but it seemed to be luck of the draw...on the way over we were delayed by 1 hr, on the way back we spent an hour in the holding pen and then they were randomly assigning trains at the ticket machines, my girlfriend checked in and got a 6pm train, I rode through 10 seconds later and got put on an 8.30pm train, bikers behind were on 10pm trains despite turning up at 5! All because of people in the tunnel. I didn't envy the girl behind the customer services desk, her advice was aim for daytime crossings - the late night ones seem to be the most affected.
Thanks, appreciate the advice.

80s theme night at Allseaons, wasnt many bikes there, think the prospect of showers put many off but I got runner up, this rare VF1000R was voted best bike on the night.

RZ500 was lovely too.

I saw my First VF1000R on the M1 heading home from Sevenoaks in 1983, It looked like a GP bike at the time.

RZ was the Aluminium framed RD500. (as I'm sure you'll know)
