A few pics from Mugello. What a circuit! Best place I've ridden round. Only bad thing was the heat! Feeling almost back to where I was before I crashed too which is a good thing biggrin

Awesome wasn't it! The only track I've hit the rev limiter in 6th on the main straight!

A few of my pics:

Great pics, but try Spa. You'll want a 7th and 8th gear on two of the straights.

Spa is definitely on the to do list.

But not with the Ducati, I'm retiring it from track duty and getting a dedicated track bike that can handle the abuse abit better!

Sorry more car related but might interest some of you.

Went for a quick local run today had a good run out roads surprisingly quiet for a bank Holliday weekend biggrin

You weren't turning right at Sandiway Shell station traffic lights at 5pm-ish were you? A very similar bike turned up behind me (CBR400 white red blue), I pulled over to the side to let him past so I could follow. I like following, much prefer riding in company, even if I don't know who they are, it's fun to see if I can stay with them, and I just like the sound of several engines accelerating together. Maybe this is odd and a bit sad. I need to get out more. The other guy knew I was there but didn't seem up for being leader. It was the most well behaved R1 I've encountered, so I turned back at Northwich roundabout.

Here's mine

Ooh a 400 friend! wavey

My little nc23........

Don't know why the pic is like that!

I think I need to play around with the gearing on the Triumph as it wouldn't pull past 14k rpm in 6th down the straight. Hit 152 according to the speed trap. Definitely a place for 1000cc bikes, I needed more power! I had no idea how undulating the circuit was until going there too. Aribiatta is my new favourite corner!

Everything about the circuit is amazing! The track, the facilities, even just watching was good! The only thing I wish they had was a better photographer.

Had a bit of a fettle with the LC and to a lesser extent the GSXR in readiness for our trip to the South of France next weekend.

Decided this year we wanted to both take a 2 stroke and a bigger bike down there , the thought of the LC on those coast roads was something I couldn't resist, so we are taking 4 bikes in my friends van, he is taking a KR1S and a SP1.

Cant wait to hear those Allspeeds in Monaco's tunnel..

Then went out out on the KR1 for a few miles,...been a great day!

I'm thinking of selling one of my zx10's if you have 8.5K burning a hole

Thanks, but I've already got the replacement lined up. I'm buying a very clean and well looked after GSX-R 750 track bike off someone I know. I think a ZX10 would probably be too much for me, I'm nowhere near your level of riding.

Manchester, or Donington.

Not sure if they do a collection further north though.

Cheers...They are a comparative bargain compared to many 2 strokes, certainly cheaper than the RGVs , so a good time to get one if you fancy it...
