PistonHeads Pub at Le Mans

The Pie and Piston finally opens its doors on Wednesday with help from Zuto [updated with new comp details]

As many of you will already be aware of, we're proud to be opening our very own pub in Le Mans! We've been planning this and beavering away on the details for months, and it has all been made possible by the good people of Zuto car finance, without who we wouldn't be doing this.

It will be open to PHers and the public alike from Wednesday evening (full opening hours below) and will be the best place to hang out with other PHers, enjoy a few beers and keep up to date with the latest action on track and from around Le Mans.

Located in the heart of the village above the pits, it is also a great meeting point and extremely easy to find. On top of all of this, we'll also be giving away some goodies throughout the weekend.

First up, free beer!

Zuto and PH are going to be giving away a free drink to the first 40 people who come to the bar wearing a PistonHeads T-shirt from 2000h on Friday June 12. We'll repeat the same offer, (with the same rules) on Saturday at the same time!

So all you need to do is try and buy a drink whilst wearing a PistonHeads T shirt and if you're in luck it will be on us*

Secondly, win an Aston Martin Garage tour.

We're not saying beer isn't great, but there is a race going on too you know! We're pleased to be able to offer a tour of the Aston Martin Garage to six lucky people, and all whilst the race is live! The tour will take place on Saturday evening at 1745h**, and all you need to do to enter is comment below saying "I'd like to have a tour of the Aston Martin garage please" and we'll pick six at random on Saturday in the Pie & Piston.

Throughout the weekend members of the PH team will be on hand to catch up, answer questions and possibly even buy the odd pint or two, so make sure you pop in.

*You can only get one free drink per person, so we don't want to see anyone claiming that you're at the bar to buy a round for you and 39 friends!

** Prize includes admission to the paddock and a 20-30-minute tour of the Aston Martin Pit Garage. Winners will be announced at 1700h on Saturday in The Pie & Piston. If you have entered please be there to see if you have won. General admission to 24 Heures du Mans not included, and if you turn up drunk don't expect to get a tour!
