I'm getting conflicting reports. Will BT Sport, in particular the new BT Sport Europe be included in the Virgin package I get now? Can't find any confirmation on the Virgin website, newspaper reports are inconclusive.

Anyone know yet?

Well got my answer, letter arrived from Virgin this morning. BT Sport Europe will be included in my XL TV package, together with existing BT channels, all in HD....but!! They will be putting my TV package up by £3 a month from Sept.

So not bad value for all Champions League games, I'd usually have a moan about costs changing mid contract, but I don't think this is too bad.

Better get used to it.

Personally I couldn't give a st about football, so I won't be happy to be paying £3 a month extra for it...

That said, I watch a fair bit of motor racing on ESPN and BT Sport. Is BT Europe replacing ESPN (and are we keeping the Indy Cars?) or is it an additional channel?

Me too generally.

My father will be happy as he watches my BT sport online hooked up to his TV and I use his Sky account.

Might be worth a call to Virgin, see if they'll drop the price hike if you don't take the BT Europe channel.

Having worked for them I doubt they will do anything.
