Bit worrying for it to happen again so soon… are they just making too much power in the NHRA? Or is it something to do with the way the chassis are being made?
That was ANDRA, not NHRA. The cause of the accident isn't yet known, so while there is obviously speculation about the reasons for the crash, we don't know at the moment.
As an outsider with no real knowledge on the chassis construction it looked like there was a failure due to a combination of downforce at the front and the torque from the rear literally ripping it apart ??
