The comparison has not been missed.

I only managed 46km in 2h15m. Now I'm knackered.

I may have heard that on several occasions.

Yes, I have an upward pointing nose.

It's good for finding truffles.

Or pies.

Both kinds.

I did 60 miles in an hour and a half.

(Admittedly this was in a Berlingo).

I actually hate cycling. Someone tricked me into doing a 50km tour for charidee, so I need to practice.

Getting to R Kid's is fifteen miles and takes an hour and a half. But it's not all bad. They're putting the kids to bed while I listen to the 100 greatest songs of all time (his choice - agree on many of them) while I get mashed and look forward to curry later. With lime pickle.

Perhaps now Greggs have cruelly abandoned the macaroni pie you can lobby for a truffle pie as replacement.

Was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes last week.

Greggs and I have had a wee falling out!

Diet controlled or medicated? If you're drinking a lot in the heat then be sure to keep your blood sugars up. If you haven't already, see your optician too. I do worry about you.

Third set of bloods go in next week. Looks like diet controlled.

Feel fine.
