The main thrust of the dream has gone I'm afraid but at one point I glanced down at my feet and the brand new pair of light tan suede shoes I was wearing were ruined. Wet, muddy and with the right one desecrated with a huge blob of blackberry bird st. Despite never having owned a pair of suede shoes I knew instinctively the message of the dream was to think hard about inappropriate footwear.

I once bought a pair of very expensive Bally kidskin suede loafers.

Bloody rubbish on the dirt bike in the rain.

Walking into the gents at Swansea West Services when, to the surprise of all the men thereabouts, a familiar female voice invited me to turn right, then left. A Tom Tom I would have left in the car but my phone and Google Maps had come with me.

Did you follow the directions? Did they take you to a cubicle or somewhere less predictable?

When I was a youngster, we drove to Berlin and back 4 or 5 times over the years, (mum driving and us two wipper snappers in the back) and we didn't overtake one vehicle!

Even the trucks were faster then us, (1964 Morris 1000).

I've hated them ever since! Err, not the trucks…………………….

Unimpressed with my old school.
I went to a selective grammar school and wanted GOG junior to go there too. When I last looked in April there was no date on their website when applications for Sept 16 opened. I had another look last week and found I had missed the deadline for entry frown
Entry for all the other schools in the area didnt open until yesterday, so I am sat here fuming whilst filling in the online applications knowing that any school she goes to now will be massively worse.
My old school has appeared in the top 10 schools in the country.

I struggle sometimes.

I cant understand how my wife cant find her way to a place 2 miles up the road that we went to only a couple of weeks ago, in an area she has lived and driven in for the last 30 years then she starts getting stressy with me when I try to show her where it is on google maps. And god help me if I get frustrated trying to explain how to get there for the 37th time.

You're going to have to let it go, Chunks. Perhaps it's time for the Trivial Thread's Ambiwlans period: visited occasionally but not forgotten.

Reminiscing with Mrs Champers tonight resulted in a (short) list of comedy shows we enjoyed "back in the day" two American and one British.
