Delivering an unmarked special forces nine seat van today. It's been in the drive overnight. I may have imagined it but I fancy I had a clearer run in it in traffic last evening than I might otherwise have done.

The guvnor at the conversion company said, "Don't use your trade plates. With that registration, no one is going to pull you over."

Finished your breakfast? Good, then I'll begin. I went to the gym last night for the first time in AGES. Whenever I have a break from going it always takes a little while to get back into the swing of things so I never even bother to attempt to do the full routine previously suggested by the annoyingly cheery trainer the first (or even second!) time out.

There I was lifting and sweating and grunting and not really enjoying myself when a little voice inside told me to take a breather for a bit. I had a gulp of water, fiddled with my Ipod and stared out of the window. Nope, it's still on its way. A quick and assertive march to the toilet where I absolutely hurled my guts up. Everything, possibly everything eaten over the past few days was noisily disposed of.

I composed myself and went home. This keeping healthy lark isn't good for you. Perhaps I'll try again tomorrow.
