Morning.

Quick question, is Mr Roper dead? confused
What makes you say that?
Because he hasn't posted anything in here for a while and I know that he had a bad infection.
Oh god, the smell. I can still smell it.

All cleared up now, thank god.

ION.

I've had a slice of ham for breakfast and a luke warm cup of tea. The tea urn hadn't reached temp.

What's occurring?

Morning all, or afternoon if you're in my part of the world.

I purchased a large rucksack today, and it has a smaller one that zips on/off. Means I can carry a checked bag and hand luggage without needing my hands to push or pull anything.

I'm slightly edited about it seeing as I'll be flying on Sunday with wife, child, 7 checked bags, 3 hand luggage bags, a laptop bag and a nappy bag.

You're too old to pull off a rucksack as hand luggage.

Can't I'm afraid - I purchased it from the MBK mall in Bangkok for the pricely sum of £18.52 and a quick look on the North Face website (it's branded as north face) doesn't show an equivalent bag. Probably an older model hence why it's in the market mall - or a knock off but I've bought rucksacks from markets in asia before with no problems.

Ad, you must consider that any saving made by buying a rucksack in a market in Bangkok has to be offset against travelling expenses.

People told me that wandering around Venice with a suitcase whilst trying to find the hotel is a big nono, hence I need to find a Rucksack.

I'm not planning on going to a disco wearing one.

Ikea do a good double zip together rucksack that also has a trolley handle and wheels

both bits fit in hand luggage size separately

if you have a family card it's cheap, about 30 euro I think

So what will you be wearing to the disco?

I wonder what I should be wearing right now because according to Google maps I'm in the English Channel two miles south of Bognor Regis.

A location which, even in the absence of a paddle, is significantly better than that which lies two miles north.
