Was it in here I was waxing lyrical about how good the Mercedes 7-speed automatic is? Anyway, someone corrected me to say it was simply well calibrated.
I had the chance to compare that, a new Mercedes 7-speed with its imperceptible gear changes and uncanny smoothness, with a new Ford 6-speed auto tonight as I'm delivering a Ranger with a 3.2 turbo diesel. It's brand new and shockingly crude in comparison. Stationary in traffic it's hunting, rocking backwards and forwards wanting to go and the changes are dreadful. If you change gear manually the throttle doesn't correct enough and the car slows down or speeds up. It's like it's amateurish.
It may be badly calibrated. But I think it's probably just cheap and nasty.

Just ordered my Christmas present from me, to me (well I say that but others are going to chip in as well) - got myself a Limited Edition Forza 6 XBOX One. Apparently some of the power up noises etc of the XBOX are replaced with car sound effects. This is going to be deliciously cheesy isn't it? 
It's a good idea but I reckon it will get boring quite quick 
I'm kinda excited to give Forza 6 a whirl though - I must admit 3 & 4 were the last ones I played and I never quite gelled with the single player experience the way I did with the mighty Forza 2. Reviews seem a bit mixed but mostly positive so I'm staying optimistic for now!

9 out 10 pilots reported that their 748s flew better with both wings attached.
The wing was lined up ready to start offering up for reattachment - it was sat on the pile of tyres at the front of the photo. However, despite being tied down with several hundred kg of concrete blocks, plus weighing near to a ton by itself, some extremely strong winds across the yard over the weekend managed to generate the lift to pick it up and hurl it over backwards onto the tailplane!

Forza 6 is probably the worse game out of them all, Horizon 2 is much better I'm kinda excited to give Forza 6 a whirl though - I must admit 3 & 4 were the last ones I played and I never quite gelled with the single player experience the way I did with the mighty Forza 2. Reviews seem a bit mixed but mostly positive so I'm staying optimistic for now!
