Well I finally picked up my 2010 N/A Evora from Murray 5 days ago and I'm still buzzing. Coming from a Cayman S it was definitely the right choice Lotus, though I would still like to have an Elise for the odd sunny weekend fun with the top down. It feels very responsive and true in its drive comared to Cayman S which was a little unpredictable, though you must always hit the Sport button after you start it up. I think my finger does it automatically now! What has been unexpected has been the amount of heads I keep turning in it, I've never been checked out so much in all my life! ☺️😎 I keep giggling like a school boy when all the BMW, Audi corporate types start checking me out. What was even better was pulling up next to a Boxter and having the driver take my pic! To think that could have been me........ I can't believe I didn't get an Evora before hand, even my wife likes it!

Good stuff, I'd have one in a heartbeat if I could afford it.

Welcome to the club! You'll get used to the attention after a while. It's not something I go for but I'm sure I'd miss it if I drove something else.

I came back from a Euro trip last night and got caught up with the tale end of the Le Mans traffic at the tunnel. I followed 3 911's through border control where a couple of enthusiasts were waiting with cameras, they ignored the 911's and snapped away at the Evora

Day two for me today, loving it - in fact the whole family love it (unusual!).

Launch Edition with recalls etc sorted and a recent new clutch. Very happy with it, I'm surprised with the ride comfort - and the amount of looks it gets!!!!

Looks great.

I have just returned from Le Mans. At hotel du France the Evors got at least as much attention as the super cars!

I've had my 2010 Ardent Red Evora for 2 months now and just love it. I stand for ages with a cup of tea just staring at the different curves. Then I have to put the tea down and find an excuse to go and drive it - 30 miles for a pint of milk we didn't even need. Ho hum!

Mine is a white LE too. Another 600 miles swallowed in it this weekend from Yorkshire>Cotswolds>South Coast made me certain I was right to swap my Exige for the Evora. So comfortable and effortless.

The attention it gets is crazy. Bowling around Southampton area last night I would estimate 1 in 2 people turned their heads. I thought the Exige would be the more noteworthy mini-race car in terms of attention but the Evora seems to get more if anything. I do think white helps on that front.

Interesting to hear you've had the (dreaded) new clutch. Haven't heard of many needing one yet - whats the mileage? And is there an invoice to confirm what the job cost? Close to the £3.5k - £4k quoted?

Did 1500 miles in mine from home to Le Mans and back in a week, 5 hours driving on most days. The car was awesome on the mountain roads. I could shake the Porsche, but that 360 hung on, although he did comment that the Evora changes direction really quickly.

I will be putting some more pics and details of the route on TLF when I get round to it.

Also thinking about getting one. RE: Attention, perhaps something to do with the fact that its yellow?!

My grey one got way more attention in France than the yellow 911. It easily matched the Ferrari on the attention front.

Clutch was £3.5k at 30k.

I'm sure not all cars will need doing, I'm glad mines done - for now. That looks like being one of the biggest bills that would be required for an Evora - compare that to a engine failure build for a 997....

Still over the moon with mine, love it.

Possible upgrades at some point:
Induction kit
Pioneer head unit

Small things:
Squeaky seat - bit annoying
One headlight peeling, getting that sorted next week
Wheel bolts are a bit rusty, will refurb with a dremmel and some black paint on the heads

Interesting - many thanks. Doesn't seem many miles to have needed the clutch change. As you say, be thankful its behind you. I had a Boxster S in the past that needed a £4k service on occasion and it was a bitter p(b)ill to swallow. Yes, I accept the fact the LE is a £65k car and comes with running costs proportionate, but when its the cost of a nice holiday for a service it does erk somewhat.

I have the Pioneer head unit on mine - seems a lot better. Only thing I am yet to do is sort the harness out to make it compatible with the reverse camera - its on my "to do" list.

Other things to sort are the reverse light switch (which in turn means I have no sensors either!) which appears to have packed up. Oh, and I have the wobbly steering wheel from the earlier spacer on the steering column which needs replacement.

I have slight delaminating on one of the headlights - when you say "fix" are you simply meaning replacement or is there any way to refurb them? One was replaced on my car but at £760 it seems a bit steep just to rid myself of some hardly noticeable aesthetics.

The clutch was done on my car at 32k miles (previous owner), I'm not sure if it was worn or just had the problem with initial assembly. The car is now on 60k miles and the clutch feels the same as it did at 36k miles when I acquired the car.

I am not anticipating a clutch change in the near future but I do make sure I rev match and heel and toe to try and be as kind on it as possible. A £3.5k bill is never ideal.

Had my Evora S IPS just under a week now and I absolutely love it!

Will write a proper review after a bit more time if anyone is interested.

Just peeling a bit on one of the headlights, so refurbed for about £100, or £180 if you have it done at Lotus Silverstone.
