Excel is totally dead if there isn't an exhibition on, if you're seeing a cheap deal there - well there's a reason why it's cheap. It would be a false economy.
If you're only in London for a short stay then you need to stay in the centre (anything inside the circle line) to be able to enjoy it.

When you refer to un-named 5 stars what do you mean? I'm looking at London options also and there are no 5 star hotels at the price above on lastminute unfortunately.Hub said:
Their "secret hotel" deals - they give you a vague description but you don't know what you're getting. Sometimes you may be able to google the description to reveal the hotel.

You can usually find out where they are though if you Google the hotel descriptionI did it once and got Hilton Islington for less than £100 per night
