If anyone can help me change the bushes on my front wishbones I'd be very grateful. I'm about to pick up blasted/coated parts, and I hoping to replace the bushes on the lower arms and drag struts, and fit bushes on the new upper wishbones. Press out four and fit eight.

I have asked Str8Six but they are backed up with work. I could go to a local garage, but I'd rather find someone who has experience of TVR wishbones.

I can get to anywhere in South East, and I'd be very happy to treat someone who can help to drinks and pizza/curry afterwards.

Paul,
You must have tried yellow pages?? I bet there's a few garages and/or engineering shops that would press out your old bushes and press in the new?

I don't believe that TVR wishbones are particularly special....It's just finding a place that will do the work with care and for a fair price.

My mate has just done the ones on his Chimaera, but he had access to a press where he works - which is in fact a farm machinery workshop....Maybe there might be such a place with similar facilities in Surrey or N. Hampshire?

How far out you willing to go?

Elmswood TVR in Tolworth/Ewell.

David Batty at The Garage in Godaling.

There's someone in Sandhurts too but can't recall their name. - Might be thinking of TVR101 but they're Farnham.

Bit further out - Mat Smith Sports Cars.

Thank you so much - what a great guy!

There is now a really good chance I'll make it to Zolder for the TVR NL CC event next week - which is quite simply the most fun I've ever had at a car event before. Check out the Zolder forum on PH for details - it is well worth the trip!

You'll be at Zolder ?! Mega ! we'll be there at 1200ish (other commitments, sadly) so looking forward to meet again !

Pressing bushes out and in isn't TVR specific, any garage with a press should be able....

All I have to do is rebuild the front suspension, without a hitch, and then get the geo done, and then I should heading for Heerlen on Thursday afternoon. I'll miss the registration/scrutineering on Thursday evening as I probably won't get there until about 10pm, but should be good for all the fun on Friday. I'll be sure to look out for you!

Nearly done...

Just need a Geo Setup (without taking any more time off work) and then I'll be ready!
