Anyone have any knowledge of the best way of fixing these back on? frown I have temporarily fixed them with white tac but it just looks poor.

I don't want to go crazy with the glue either. Wouldn't mind paying someone to fix it.

Very tiny amount of superglue, applied with the point of a pin into the hole, place mirror into position and hold. Job's a good'un.

Personally I'd go with a tiny bit of 5 minute epoxy from the tip of a pin, stronger than rather brittle superglue and allows you to adjust the position so it's just right. You would have to hold it in position until it sets though, minor downside.

I cried when I saw this !.....Would not strategically placed self tapping screws or some kind of bolt along with the glue be better ?.....Oh, it's a bloody model !!

Thanks folks...decided to give the superglue a bash myself. Stripped off the inner door cards and glued it from there.

All fixed.

Need a 944S2 next!

Pleased to see you have sorted this, but I suspect that you will have a recurrence of the problem as a simple super glue bond has very little resilience to being knocked. If you have to do it again I suggest that you insert a pin by drilling a hole into the mirror using a handheld drill (do not use your Dremel) insert a piece of wire or a pin into the hole and cut off in the hole with 2-3mm showing. Use the mirror with the pin in to mark a location for a matching hole to be drilled into the door, drill the hole and secure everything with a tiny amount of epoxy resin (the 24 hour stuff is the strongest). The result will be stronger than the original.
