There was a lot of talk at Le Mans last week about the the addition of the Nürburgring 6 hours to the WEC. The Radio Le Mans gents mentioned it a few times, and there was a great amount of crowd and campsite chat about Brits heading over to Germany for the weekend in August. A few of our Le Mans team were going to head down and I wanted to see whether it Was all chat, or whether a significant number of Brits were going to head on over to watch?

should be interesting with speed limits on the track now, even for racing.

Am thinking of going, all dependant on work.

Just remember that the race is 30th August. 31st is a Bank holiday here in the UK, last before kids return to school. So expect the ferries/tunnel to be rammed

Me going...first WEC race attending. I'm using it as a taster for taking my son to Le Mans next year(hopefully). Making a family get away for the long weekend. Really looking forward to it and wondering if it will be better attended than Silverstone and Spa. I have the tickets and tunnel booked but haven't decided where to stay - B&B or camp?

Also trying to decide where to stop off for a night on the way there, never driving to that part of Europe.

I'm most likely going to tie it in with a trip to Germany.

Does anyone know what happens about camping. Nurburgring site a bit sketchy on details do you just roll up and pay can anyone confirm this.

If other arrangements weren't already in place, I would be heading for Germany.

As it is, I'm more than disappointed that I can't make this one frown
