Just after people's comments on this route. Going in just over two weeks, three of us (all drivers)
Dunkirk > Grenoble - Zzzzzzz
Grenoble > Monaco - via Col de la Bonnette & Turini
Monaco > Milan - Thinking of taking the coast road for the view
Milan > Lake Como - Zzzzzzz
Lake Como >Bormio - via Ponte di Legno
Bormio > Fussen - Stelvio
Fussen > Freiburg - Any good alternatives?
Freiburg > Frankfurt - Black Forest R500
Frankfurt > Dunkirk - Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Also wondering if you can visit Monza, thought it would be a worthwhile stop off point from Milan to Como but is there actually anything to see if no events are on?
