Hi

I'm trying to put together a piece on the history of a 2004 Alfa 156 SW 2.4JTD MJet, and was interested in the list price of the car, not least because it appears to have every conceivable factory option on it.

I thought it would be a simple Google exercise to find the 2004 Alfa price list and options, but seemingly i was wrong. Anyone able to give any pointers?

Cheers.

Find someone with a back-issue of Top Gear magazine? - I've got one, but its in the loft, so not readily accesible

This should be a fairly decent start, I had the sale invoice for my previous 2004 156 2.4 20V Lusso without anything on top IIRC for £17500 exactly, seemed like a bargain to me.

That seems very cheap.

That does seem very cheap!

I'm sure I've got a price list with the 20 valve in it.
Will have a look tomorrow and report back.

This is the July 2004 price list:

Apparently the Ti had "racing brake pads"!
hehe

Hope that's what you were after.

Perfect, thanks. And as I had thought, the 2.4JTD MJet Veloce we've picked up had every available extra put on it, though bizarrely the options list and instruction manual say it should have a manual lumber support for the from seats, whereas we have electric. Can't complain.

Is it electric recline, rather than lumbar?

Nope, manual recline and electric lumbar.

So it is!

I had electric recline and manual lumbar, but it was a 2002 10 valve.
Lovely cars. Enjoy it.

Interesting price list. Looks like my 1.9JTD Sportwagon was the povpack entry point... Still going strong today (although now with Veloce leather, GTA Speedlines and B6 dampers. I've 330Brembos to be fitted at some stage).

It's a hard car to up and replace to be honest.
Although I'd take an AR442 Blue 156GTA Sportwagon (sele even) in a heartbeat.
