Hello Lee, welcome to the forum, nice looking Porsche you have, I think you live about a mile from me, I`m in St Athan village. Do you work on the camp ? There are a few runouts here, keep your eyes on this forum for them.

Hi Lee and welcome.

I'm round the corner in Llantwit! If you see a grumpy looking fella that is too big for a red MX5, that is me! hehe

Nice looking car that quite fancied a black one myself but couldn't find one at the time.
Do you know if the ims has been done on it?
Worth doing for the peace of mind if it haven't, Read lots of horror stories about them.

thanks for all the warm welcomes guys ;-)

@rickyy I'm imagining a donkey kong from Mario kart here lol is that about right? lol

@dhe just back in from a stag do in the midlands but let me know when the next is as when im free I'm always up for meeting fellow car fans

@badaboom mines a 996.1 which has a double row bearing unlike the 996.2 so has a very very low failure rate so I'm content and once warm mine gets driven pretty hard and most failures seem to be garage queens etc
but thanks for the heads up buddy

@trev it was Wednesday evening at about 830 (ish)

It wouldn't have been me then, Lee. Both me and the car were tucked-up for the night ready for an early start the next morning down to Goodwood.
