Hi All

I'm struggling to find the paint code for anthracite alloys on a 2012 Maserati. Anybody got any ideas where I may get this info?

Regards

Dave

I'm not sure why this got moved when the OP was obviously asking for specific advice about paint.
The bodywork and detailing section was the correct place to ask because painters who have paint mixing schemes and access to their codes are there, rather than lurking around the supercar general section rolleyes

Any way ... if you're sure the wheels are Anthracite then on my scheme there is only one Maserati Anthracite listed - Anthracite Medio which has a code of VV642/B.

Thanks for your response. In also not sure why this was moved as I tried the supercar section earlier. I will talk to the paint guy I use and see what he says. My only reservation is the 'medio' reference as I have seen some anthracite wheels which are more like gun metal colour whereas mine are virtually black.

Thanks again

With my paint system I punch in Maserati, wheels, grey, search.
This search will bring up all grey colours (silvers are also listed as grey)
My search only brings up about 8 colours - and only one of those has Anthracite in its name.
My Italian isn't really up to much, but 6 of them seem to have silver, liquid or Aluminium in the name - leaving Grigio Nuvaolari Deep VV616/D as the only other obvious option.
I could give you all the names and codes but to be honest unless each one was made up as a sample, sprayed out on a sample card and compared to your wheels I can't really see the list of being of much help to you.
(I tried the same search using black - nothing came up)

Good luck with your investigations.

Thanks again. The Maserati dealer has told me they don't use codes for the wheel paint which I found strange. Anyway, the plan is now to compare all the fiat and Alfa colour swatches against my wheels and if the doesn't find a match I'm going to have to use the main dealer.

Cheers
