Rear Diff repair / refurb in Watford or Luton?

Hi All,

First time poster - hoping someone on here can help...

I have an S2000 making an awful noise - have already posted over on the S2KI forums for advise etc.

I took the car to Honda Tech in North London and after several test drives and process of elimination the view is that the Rear Differential needs to be replaced.

The Honda Tech guy remembers using some place in Watford or Luton for a rear diff refurb not so long ago but has lost his details.
I have tried googling but not had much luck yet.

Does anyone know of this place in Watford / Luton that can refurbs/ repair my rear differential?

Southern Axles in Watford, guys name is Paul Letchford, probably won't get hold of him till Monday now as he'll be at Santa Pod this weekend racing.

Thanks for the replies.

However, after further investigation by another garage and a gearbox specialist it now appears the noise is coming from the gearbox.

I have been quoted approx £250 for bearings + £400-500 labour + VAT for the repair - assuming it is just the bearings and not worse.

Alternatively, £350+VAT labour to swap the gearbox out for a 2nd hand replacement - whatever that costs me.

I assume the above look like reasonable figures?
