2009 Mini Cooper - Will the timing chain be an issue?

Hi,

I'm planning on looking at a 2009 Mini Cooper with 19500 miles (being sold through main dealer). I've noticed quite a lot of bad press/owner reviews about the timing chains and tensioners and would be grateful to know if this is likely to be a problem. It comes across as a frequent issue for the Cooper S but what about the Cooper?

Cooper engine is the N12 the S has the N14, different engine's and do not have the same issues.
