Looking at rumrunner's profile, all I see is a red 4 door car. Described as a VXR8.

Rumrunner bought the Monaro a few months ago. If you remember, it was an ultra low mileage one in Sting (nearly as fast as white) red. He then spent a day polishing up the engine bay

Ah profile pic is my old VXR8 from a few years ago..not updated...out of HSV's for while...then got a Monaro. Lots of noise about a bigger house..maybe overseas...seems everytime I get HSV some change is on the horizon. This time its worse as I always wanted a mint red Monaro years ago and gave up and bought the VXR8.

I,m just about to sell my ro vxr .will probably regret it as it took me 2 years to find it in red with low mileage .but it just dosnt get used . Any what I want to know is what is the color code for the wheels as one has a bit of kerb damage I want to sort out before I put it in the classifieds

GTRs do take my fancy (as do V10 R8s). But I've just had some news from work which means these and a Gen-F will be in reach sooner than I thought! I just need to tidy up the paintwork and perfect the mapping on mine then I might put it on the market.

I can't deny it, the Gen-Fs are seriously desireable to me

Although my mates V10 R8 is rather epic. It replaced a 650bhp GTR (which I half considered buying from him - it was fantastic - but the sprogs wouldn't have fitted).

You need to stop posting pictures of that car Mik (I've seen pics of it on the other forum)- that's pretty much the perfect spec R8 V10 for me (although I would like the Recaro buckets, whereas that appears to have the standard sports seats)!!

Alternatively, if someone can deliver a Litchfiield LM700 to me (in blue, but I'm not too fussy), that would be greatly appreciated

Yes I keep toying with the idea of 997's. although S3 Exiges are also very appealing - and I'm sur I can borrow mrs mik's Disco4 if the sprogs need a lift eh? Thankfully (!) mrs mik has spotted a house that we appear to have agreed to buy - it will swallow the car account. And every other account.

Mikey there is a very nice white VF at Slaters with all the walky bits fitted think 740 bhp at flywheel ony 2k miles all the toys sunroof as well

A good find in Serbia!
Colour is Venom red - Immaculate is the word. It's 8 yrs old, never driven in the winter, has been kept in a temperature controlled garage and only has 10k miles on the clock. Stuart at AAS has looked it over and changed all the oils to Royal Purple.
The IVA test was passed last Friday and I'm now awaiting the HMRC demand for import tax and VAT....
Monaro is serviced/polished and under covers in the garage - ready for sale.
