Does anyone have any Flyknit 3 or 4 trainers?

Would the uppers squash completely flat against the soles without damage, or do they have rigid components in the heel to keep the shape?

I'm after some minimal trainers for travel when I'm taking hand luggage only. These Flyknits might be what I'm looking for.

Any experiences with them?

I have a couple of pairs of the 4's. You could fold them flat - he whole upper is basically elasticated material albeit there is minor heel structure. I really like them - very comfortable because of the elasticated nature which gives a snug fit but still provides some support with a reasonably rigid sole, you don't feel like you are running in socks. Nice wide toe box which suits me too. I tried a pair of the 3's on recently but felt a bit too flimsy for my liking - probably better for racing but depends how minimalist you want to go. The 4's have about 6mm heel drop from memory but run nicely - I also use Brooks Pure and these are comparable in my mind. They come in a good range of colours too but are also expensive - I buy them in America.
