There you have it. The girl is also a complete idiot as brokers have significant input into the pricing structure, either through detailed negotiations, or claime experience, or commission levels, or profit share agreements. Bike insurance is a broker dominated market with few direct insurers out there.

I'd have said the above, even without the daft bint doubling up on your bikes!

Ive called them to make them aware of the mistake and to see if that is why the price increase has occurred. It apparently makes no difference as the premium is based upon the main bike.

He said its more than last year as ive now got a brand new bike. However when i pointed out that this time last year my 1199 was brand new too, and also several £££ more expensive he didn't know what to say.

Then he went on to say im getting cheaper quotes elsewhere as i must not be declaring my accident to other insurers (which i am). So when i asked if the accident is the main cause he said it doesnt make any difference to the premium as it was none fault. He couldnt grasp the point i was trying to make.

Take your money elsewhere. They're a bunch of fkwits. You wouldn't work this hard to spend your money with a retailer in a different market
