A pub and B & B rather than a hotel but only about 5 miles from Gaydon, plenty of parking and decent food.

Do you like desserts?

The pudding club at Chipping Camden is only 25 miles away...

Brilliant guys. Thanks. I'll look through the links and get something booked over the weekend.

Thought i'd update this.

On our return journey from Cornwall, we stayed in the Stratford Manor last Sat/Sun and I went to Gaydon on the Sunday.

When I pulled into the hotel car park on Saturday, I found the Lancia club were having their annual meeting at the hotel and the grass round the back was filled with loads of lovely old Lancias - what a result (Mrs Chimp wasn't quite so enthused biggrin).

As a location for Gaydon, I would recommend it. About 20 mins drive to get there, the hotel has a nice wee spa and pool you can use, the food is not to bad and Stratford is a short drive away - park in the Leisure Centre car park for ease.

Hi just to update you.

We're staying at Staverton Park near Daventry, with another stop at a place called Candlesticks in Stamford, Lincolnshire.
