Can anyone recommend me a really good family lawyer in Aberdeen,

Patience and Buchan, think they are still on Golden Square. Not the cheapest but very good. If you can try and deal with Ian Patience himself, I found him very helpful and knowledgeable about everything and kept me from getting myself into even deeper trouble.

I can recommend John Plenderleath.

He's helped us with various things from house sale / purchase through advice on wills and dealing with the affairs of my wife's parents after their passing.

Good bloke. Explains things in terms I can understand.

I would happily recommend them, I was a bit young and naive when I had to deal with it and I found Iain to be very helpful in explaining the different avenues available to me in words I could actually understand rather than dripping everything in legal speak. Their level of communication was first class and we exhausted every option before winding up in court. I still got my ass handed to me and my bank account emptied, but that was through no fault of theirs, I just didn't have it in me to fight every day of the week and they respected and represented my position very well
