V6 Turbo Engine & UN1 Box

I've got the Renault V6 turbo motor and UN1 box in my ultima and I'm starting to think it might be time to upgrade.
They're both obviously fairly long in the tooth - but both in good nick (new turbo just been fitted, for example) and I recall the UN1 used to be quite desirable. I've been out of the kit car game for a long time - is there still a market for them and what kind of prices have people seen?

Still a market, depends on the variant, the 0-13 boxes with a 3.44:1 final drive are still fitted to many GT40 replicas, I'd say in an an unrestored condition an 0-13 is worth about £250 - £300 to the GT40 community. Hope that helps

What are the numbers on the tag?

I know a number of people who will be interested in the box if its a 21t

Sounds steep to me, but if you can get good money then go for it def easier to start high and lower if too high than go the other way...

I paid £350 for mine from an independent GT40 Specialist and that included drive shaft adaptors and a SBF V8 conversion plate too, yes it needed a complete rebuild but after a week with Chris Cole it was like new again and still owed me less than £900 inc many new parts, and let's be honest if it's been in an Ultima it's gonna want a rebuild too...

Thanks guys - I can't remember the no. on the box, but it's a complete drivetrain package off a renault 25 v6 turbo - motor & box.

I think only the GTA V6 turbo & the 21 Turbo had the 3.44:1 diff the 25 V6 Turbo is lower ratio I think
