Wild Camping - New Fotest
Discussion
Because the New Forest isn't that 'wild' i.e. it's hard to get that far away from a road, village etc. You could do it, however you'll have to be prepared to park and hike for a quite a while to get somewhere remote.
NB. I live in the Forest so please don't make a mess/leave litter and st everywhere!

Tbh if were a few of you bivvying you'd probably get away with it, but a dozen of you it is very is unlikely you'd go unnoticed. I'd be tempted to go for a quieter formal site that has no facilities as it less likely to have families such as http://www.campingintheforest.co.uk/england/new-fo... its within walking/staggering distance of Lyndhurst for a pint and a curry too. Never been there so can't actually vouch for it though........

If you're a copper, wouldn't you know? Or at least ask one of your colleagues rather than random people on the internet?
We don't study local New Forest by-laws and don't know every law in the country. Will probably have to just go to a official site and put up with the complaints.
Probably won't happen in the Forest, but if one of you happens to be a Camping and Caravan Club member, check out some of the CL sites (think that's what they're called). They generally tend to be farmers who rent out a part of their field for small groups. Sometimes they have electric, but if you can find one without electric hookup, you should find it'll be a smaller one and probably quiet so they may be more amenable to single sex groups.
I'm staying at one this weekend (albeit in Bristol) and there's only 5 pitches on it. 4th time me and the good lady have been there and we've always been the only ones on site.
