The Lubrizol Corporation is an innovative specialty chemical company that produces and supplies technologies that improve the quality and performance of our customers' products in the global transportation, industrial and consumer markets. The European marketing and technical centre is based in a rural setting at Hazelwood, eight miles from Derby city centre.

THE ROLE

This is an exciting opportunity to lead and develop a team of Engineers performing industry standard Engine Oil Lubricant and Fuel Additives testing at our state of the art Hazelwood testing facility.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of Lubrizol’s testing programmes that support our global product development, which in turn differentiate our product offering and market Leading Technology as well as planning and managing departmental budget and capital expenditure. They will ensure effective use of resource and assets and be confident in re-presenting Lubrizol at external industry events/bodies and European Automotive OEM’s.

REQUIREMENTS

•A proven track record managing and developing a technical team.


•The ability to establish strong relationships and work effectively within a matrix organisation.


•A degree in Engineering B Eng/M Eng or equivalent or relevant industry experience.


•Experience working within the automotive industry (engine).

Please note: This role will require occasional domestic and international travel

I had an interview here a couple of years ago for a lab tech job.

Might help people to decide whether or not to apply if you carried a salary range and possible benefits on your vacancy notice.

Sorry but I am just the messenger and not from HR or the recruiting manager.

Educated guess would be £55,000 plus for the salary and benefits include 3% pension, private health care, subsided on-site restaurant and a very pleasant countryside location.
