Hotrods at Pendine

Next weekend on 4-5 July is this years meet.
Last year a good turnout with a range of interesting cars doing beach runs.

Also, I have heard that on July21st Babs will be out together with Bluebird and Napier Railton.
Yet to be confirmed but will be great if it does go ahead.

Thanks for that, the in laws have a caravan there so may take a trip down.

Is the parking on the and only? Presumably it will be packed?

Ive never seen it packed out even with the speed events there, sometimes parking on the beach is possible but not sure on event day.

We went last year. Some superb old rods, a great day out and superbly cheap. What's not to like ?

Went today
Great day.
£3 parking fee for on beach parking.
Many more cars there than last year.
That one in DHO1 photo above was there again.
Weather was good and nice watching and hearing them do timed runs on the course laid out.
Some SERIOUSLY loud V8 cars....
Show cars and ratrods.
Many driven to the event and not trailered.
A lot of people wrre in "matching" period clothing too.

They have quite a few events there so worth keeping an eye out, never gets that busy either.
I like pendine, its a bit run down but I think that makes it stay a bit quieter.
