Roll Centre have a design for one. Not sure if the back supports are straight or curved. Eitherway, I want to make sure that there's a headrest between my head and the rear support legs.

I recently purchased a rollbar from Rollcentre. While the construction quality was very good, their design requires you cut larger holes in the rear shelf fiberglass to install for the rear mounting plates. If I had had a custom unit built, I would have designed the rear mounts as separate pieces with a tube attached that would bolt to the tubes coming through the rear shelf. (I suppose you could always ass them to modify their stock design).

Also, since there always are slight differences between cars, the premade unit required I shim the front plates to get the upright in the correct position.

My $.02.

Hi, I have a Safety Devices one in mine. Not listed on their website though.

I welded two plates on the chassis for the rear bars to bolt to.

Was this with the body on? What do the front bars bolt to. Do you have any pictures/fitting details. Thinking of getting one myself, started to feel a bit vulnerable in my old age.

I welded plates to the chassis - can be seen just in front of the fuel tank and also on the outrigger just in front of the central tube.

cage is to msa standard by Geronimo - they said that because of the differences in each shell each one needs to be bespoke.

Hi,
Yes the plates were welded on with the body off and are very similar to Magpies.

The main hoop bolts the the bodymount/seatbelt reel mounting plate and the reel has a new attachment point welded to the roll bar.
