Investec personal banking

Has anyone used Investec Personal banking?

Thoughts?

Friend of mine works for them ooop north.

If he's there they can't be that bad would be my strong suspician.

I can try and ask him some 'off the record questions' if needs be?

I had an Investec High 5 account for a number if years. Foid them very easy and efficient to deal with.

I found they offered extremley good service.

I used them for my business until they closed that type of account (ex-Kleinwort Benson). But they were very good, answered the phone - albeit in a South African accent - and of course were well set up working with different currencies.

I'm with them, and personally i've found them great.
Always get straight through to a human being, mostly a very enthusiastic South African. A friend of mine also banks with them, and lost their card when they were on a cruise. They managed to get a new card sent out and delivered to her at the next port she was stopping out, I thought that was pretty impressive.

Every time I phone them i'm reminded of the Spitting Image song "I've never met a nice South African". Clearly the writer didn't bank with Investec, as they are very friendly and helpful in my experience as well.

So far so good. Very on the ball switching direct debits over. Straight through. I'm not too keen on the text message Internet banking password but everything else is working fine.
