This was the contents of our rather expensive trackday garage at Donington today. However, one of these bikes is not like the other bikes (Sesame Street rules). Which one went bang and left a rather large trail of oil all the way down the back straight?

Just for fun and nobody was injured

Will stereotypes come to the fore, or technical knowledge, or even just dislike for one of the brands?

Answer later tonight, or tomorrow, if I fall asleep!

Ducati I reckon. Sump made of finest Italian cheese, blew it's belly pan out and dropped it's sauce.

Got to be the Ducati. That sounds like something a Ducati would do.

I guess nobody knows if you checked the torque of the con-rod bolts before you set off...

The most problems my mate had with a bike in over 30 years of motorcycling was with his 1000RR.

Forget Italian electrics, bloody German electrics and around 200 miles from the nearest dealer. We had to bump it every time he stopped. BMW never found out what was the cause. In the end they replaced it with another but nearly new one and it promptly broke down with engine problems.

Didn't stop him buying an HP4 mind.

I voted and recon its the Trumpet. The 675 is a fantastic bike IMO, bit they can drink oil, especially the earlier ones. I'm thinking lack of lube, then big bang.

This is closer than I thought it'd be and getting some serious votes. Three way tie at the moment!

Wasn't sure how to vote. From other posts I get the impression that Loon is not a fan of Ducati and Triumphs so could be one of those two. However, we know he doesn't rate them...so it could be a red herring. However, he knows we know he doesn't like them so perhaps it really is one of the two.

Just give us the answer will you?!
