I know there are several other threads about imigrants and what not but this article really pissed me off.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3144910/Co...

Surely now is the time to shut the border between England and France, if its not the immigrants causing agro its the French peasants up for a ruck again. And yet all the UK authorities want to do about it is fine its own citizens for alerting the authorities about stowaways.

We need to give both the French and the UK something to think about, start using the other ports to Belgium instead. When we leave the EU we wont be able to trade with France anyway apparently so what's the problem. The communists need another revolution by the look of things.

It's the Daily Mail. Of course it pissed you off. Their articles are deliberately written in a way that makes you feel disgusted and/or angry.

If you're really interested in the story, look at it on some other sources and you almost always find it's probably not as bad as the Mail loves making you think it is.

Quite. The Daily Mail is the tabloid equivalent of catnip - for values of 'cat' which include 'idiot', 'spacktard' and 'kipper'.

Wikipedia on Catnip said:
The common behaviors cats display when they sense the bruised leaves or stems of catnip are: rubbing on the plant, rolling on the ground, pawing at it, licking it, and chewing it. Consuming much of the plant is followed by drooling, sleepiness, anxiety, leaping about and purring. Some growl, meow, scratch or bite at the hand holding it. The main response period after exposure is generally between five and fifteen minutes, after which olfactory fatigue usually sets in.
The behaviour of your average PH Daily Mail outrage addict is pretty much identical when provided with a particularly juicy piece in The Wail.

The truth is, they love it.

Maybe, just maybe its the only paper to tell the truth. Its not as if the others have never bent the truth, aka lied out of their fat fking arses like the news of the world or those communmists at the BBC now is it.

You're right, however, to take question with jjlynn27's 'cretin' designation.

If that really is your understanding of the Daily Mail, then 'cretin' is a status you can only aspire to, but sadly never attain.

You do realise that cretinism is a congenital condition of idiocy and dwarfism, don't you?

What other hateful and degrading insults do you possess?

Be your own leftist reasoning you ought to be dragged off to the Gulag for some harsh reeducation. We won't miss you.

Haven't read the link but the OP has a point. We're an small island just off mainland Europe. Mainland Europe has many countries in which to seek work or asylum.

How hard can it be to stop people jumping onto lorries? We have heat detectors, motion detectors, electric fences, tasers, automatic weapons and who knows what else. Or go the other way and send immigration officials or charities to explain to the chancers the other countries to which they can go.

The US/Mexico border is 2000 miles long, I can understand it's impossible to police it all, all the time. We have two 25ft tunnels to monitor and we can't stop them.

So with your ROFL thing I take it you are saying that coach driver didn't go to France, he didn't have immigrants in his boot, he didn't notify the authorities that they were there and he didn't get any sort of fine. Is all the above not true or is it just one part of it. If you have superior knowledge of the incident that didn't happen the please provide a link for it.

Just because people are prepared to speak the truth doesn't mean they are a cretin just because it upsets the ideology. Just the other year a couple of people spoke out about kiddies getting shagged and got called racists and denounced from society. The only ones to come out of that little episode traumatised were the children. Wake up.

I don't think anyone familiar with your record here is going to give your faux PC outrage any more than the few scant milliseconds of regard that it merits before filing it under 'Colossal chuntering hypocrite'. hehe

I seriously doubt you're drinking beer on a work night. I myself have had 8 bottles of Budweiser and have decided to take the day of tomorrow because I can. Never mind I'm sure a windowless office will be nice too.

As above. Up the stairs to Bedfordshire for you, and no reading the Daily Mail under the covers with a torch.

I was of the understanding that the tunnels were about 25 miles long, not 25 ft (which I assume is feet). hehe
