I know its summer time when I can bring my V6 out smile Serviced, MOT and tax and all good too go

I have also fitted a new splitter two new fog lights after a night away and one cracked with a friend in his Elise S2 (will maybe upload these pictures later) he got a cracked windscreen and coolant issues!

Gorgeous, it really does look mint - well done.

Its on 26,000 miles now, purchased on 22,000 trying to keep it low. Do I enjoy it and let the mileage go up or try to keep it below 30k. Think it will be the latter!

Love it! Such a timeless, awesome looking car.

Had to tell the wife off though who thought it was just some 1.4 clio with "a halfords bodykitt". eekfuriousbanghead One could almost class that as grounds for divorce couldn't one...

Looks amazing even after all these years, Future Classic of course! Rare too, can't remember the last time I saw one on the road.

sorry to ask the boring questions (love the car BTW) but what is it like sitting next to the engine? does it get really hot/noisy in a good/bad way?

Going the owners club, 610 in total (256 Mk1/354 Mk2) these are UK cars

No at all, ask away! It does get warm, but not uncomfortably so, either cold air from the blowers, A/C or window does the job! In terms of noise its suprisingly quiet if you want it too be, but sounds utterly amazing when you go fir it. I have a standrad set up apart from an after market induction kit but its amazing what the engine ocvers do, I drove it once with them off and you could hear everything but not in a good way.
There is another Mk1 V6 owner who has a full after market system he has had to put a piece of plastic behind the seats its so loud but thats an alteration so nothing to do with th design if you like.
