Tamora Accelerator Issues
Discussion
Need a bit of advise regarding an issue that started about 9 months ago.
Not always, but on occasions I'm having difficulty depressing the accelerator - the problem arises mainly if I'm accelerating, lift off and coast, then try to accelerate again the pedal won't depress at the first attempt, it takes 2 or 3 attempts to get the pedal down.
I don't think it's a cable/linkage issue as I had these replaced/checked/greased about 12 months ago following a couple of incidents when the accelerator pedal remained depressed after hard acceleration.
Any thoughts gratefully received

Have you checked the throttle bodies & their linkages? Can you simulate the fault when static just by pressing the accelerator? if so do it with the bonnet up with the airbox off and a volunteer to press the loud pedal whilst you watch what is going on with the throttle bodies.
I am sure you would have spotted it but you're not catching your foot on the panel that should be velcroed in place by the pedal that houses the ECU?
