Build spec from VIN

Hi...long shot but is there a way of finding out the spec with which the car left the factory, based on VIN? Google leads me to a site that is blocked as malware....BMW have a site but I have not been able to find one for Astons...

If you have a friendly Aston dealer, they can give you both full spec and known history from the VIN number

Ah..thanks...just been to AMW to have shocks put in so will call them..cheers
