Afternoon all
Looking at a set of Furygan AFS gloves after my handroids fell to peices. There doesnt seem to be many reviews about though, has anyone on here had a set? Were they worth it?Im looking at the AFS-18s at the minute.

Cheers

I always try to see if I cna find a Revzilla review on them. Very good youtube user.

I think I must have been lucky with my Handroids. I only use them on track and 3 offs later and they are still awesome.

I have a few items made by Furygan so I'm not a 'hater' or anything, but, I would recommend that you inspect the gloves VERY carefully, my first pair (Furygans although not the AFS that you're after) were returned because the stitching was frankly, bloody appalling, dropped stitches and in some areas it'd veer off all over the leather and the cut was all to c0ck, so when I wore them, the seams were in the middle of my nails rather than around them like every pair of sewn gloves ever made...ever, doesn't seem like a big deal but was quite irritating.

Anyway, I got a replacement pair (not without considerable ball-ache and effort because the shop seemed to think there was nothing wrong with them) which have proven to be ok, just carry out the basic quality control that Furygan don't seem to do and you'll be reet.

I've got some Furygan AFS-18s, I liked the look of Handroids but the stories of them flying to bits in minor offs, and the gloves themselves actually causing injury in a crash put me off. I decided I wanted some top gloves, so I went to my local bike shop and had a go of all of their premium gloves. The Furygans really caught my eye, great looking design, very comfortable, great materials, great design, excellent fit and loads of feel, the Alpinestars offerings were a close second. All the Furygan kit I've looked at has been very well made, my next big purchase will be a one-piece suit, more than likely it will end up being a Furygan item, though with all these things I recommend seeing and feeling things in person where possible.

Bought a pair of these recently and so far very impressed. Very comfortable and feel like there is great protection. Mine have "given" a little in the first 1000 miles and now fit very nicely!

Only niggle is the wrist strap - the little one - it very short and my wrists are too wide for it.
