What's the cheapest car you can find in the ads that has an MOT and could be driven away? Ideally, it would be something that you could run for a bit without too much worry.

It has to be ready to go and not be spares or repair. smile

Probably a Skoda Felicia if there is any in there, I know I've bought them for >£300 w/12 months MOT and no known issues.

in the PH classifieds there's this: http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/m...

It should just about function as a conveyance and it's under £300.

I am selling my Fiesta - has a patch of rust - but its a great drive, interior is in great condition... engine/gearbox perfect....

I originally bought it to fill a gap for a month, but kept it as its been so good - too many cars on the driveway now so its gotta go!

£500 if interested!

I'm currently driving a Mercedes W210 estate. £350.00 over a year ago. Tyres and some silly things for MoT last November. If it does the next 5 months without any serious hassle it'll have more than paid for itself. If I can squeeze another year out of it without major expense, all the better. If not, it'll be weighed in and I'll buy another smile

Sh*t that's just down the road from me, I had no idea it existed. They have no less than 73 cars - 73! count 'em! - for £500 or less. My lord, it will be hard to resist taking a look one day.

I had a look there a year or so ago.
They were almost all proper stboxes that would do well to drag themselves off the forecourt.

I think they are the ultimate 'don't give a st about where you leave them' machines.

I bet that if you left one in a car park, nobody else would park near it. smile
