Do Land Rover dealers no longer want to take new car orders?

Just curious if anyone has had a similar experience. I have called two dealers, exchanged emails and it is I who is chasing to place an order for a Discovery Sport, and ZERO interest and response from them. Never had this kind of experience with other high-end car dealerships.

Any suggestions or should I turn up with cash in hand?
