On the blag : Old/knackered MK1 cat?

Anyone got an old or knackered MK1 cat that they'd be willing to donate?

I've just got a Japspeed manifold and down-tube for my MK2.5 sport. The manifold fits perfectly, and I like the relocation of the O2 sensor it gives me too, but the downpipe is pointless, as it's a foot or so too short to be a decat, and the standard MK2.5 downpipe/cat unit mates up to the manifold perfectly.

However, I have a sneaking suspicion that the Japspeed downpipe would mate to a MK1 cat, which would slot in between the downpipe and center pipe. If that IS the case, then I quite like this setup as it offers far more options for the MK2.5 than the usual exhaust combinations.

So.. anyone willing to donate/lend/whatever a MK1 cat so I can see if it matches up?
