As you'll see in this BlatChat thread, K series dry sump pans are no longer available from Caterham :-(

If you think you may need one at some point, see how you can help....

Not running a dry sump, but I see talk about the wet sumps and a spare of them if a lead ever comes apparent could be wise.

Currently have 30 interested in this bulk buy. Price will be less than CC's old list price. Anymore interested?

I'd also be interested, dependant upon estimated cost.

What's not obvious (to me) from the L7 post is whether the new batch will be using an existing sump as a pattern with a view to replicating this exactly, or whether any modifications will be made, e.g. adding a well rounded profile to the front, or altering the casting so that the angle of attack is in the sump's favour. This would aid the sump riding over obstacles rather than them hitting an almost flat surface (the near vertical end of the current sump). It would also be possible to add say 5mm thickness to the base end of the sump where this sits closest to the road.

If new patterns are to be made for castings, this would be an ideal opportunity to improve the current design, rather than simply replicate the original, along with some of its shortcomings.
