Are there any requirements generally needed when looking at trainee PM roles? I fancy a change to what I am currently doing (IT Support) and becoming a PM feels like the right way for me to go.

I have been involved in Projects, as a part of the delivering to the end user.

Thanks.

I went from Solutions Architecture into PM within the same business which is one way of doing it if they are prepared to let you make that transition

Other than that, usually the way to do it is to go into a PMO / Assistant role and work your way up. Look at least getting your PRINCE2 foundation (usually a CV filter for entry PMO roles), emphasise your CV around project work detailing the roles you took on etc

Thanks for your reply, I'll look at those options. Unfortunately I aren't able to move into a different role in my company as there is nothing open to me
